Through their participation in “Say it with comics” project, in the first place students become better aware, discuss and develop empathy in current social issues and problems, while on a second phase they propose own solutions to social exclusion and violence through the different comic stories they create under the project.
With the completion of the project, student stories will be processed in script and illustration by acknowledged professional artists who will create 5 thematic comic booklets in the following sections: human rights, children rights, xenophobia-racism, disability and rights, bullying-school violence.
The 5.000 comic booklets are going to be printed and distributed to all the students who participated in “Say it with comics” project, to primary schools of Northern Greece and to children libraries, children care institutions, pediatric wings and children hospitals in Thessaloniki and the broader area for the wider possible sensitisation and motivation against negative discrimination of any kind.
